	For Immediate Release
Profiles of the Senior Staff for Rally New York

Ivan (Clerk of the Course) and Olga Orisek (Treasurer/Secretary) -- These mortgage

company owners from Forestburgh started competing in and organizing auto rallies in

their native Czechoslovakia, and continued their involvement in the U.S. after moving

here in 1976. Ivan's title, clerk of the course, is rally jargon for the chief organizer. He's

one of those rare people who can manage both the big picture and the small details.

Meanwhile, Olga keeps the rally's balance sheets and paperwork in order.

Ed Jackson (Deputy Clerk of the Course - Operations) - This Narrowsburg resident

is a retired steam fitter in the construction industry with an impressive resume in

motorsports. Ed served as both a driver and an official during his many years in sprint

car and midget racing. He was also a long-time photographer for "Stock Car Racing"

magazine. When auto rallies arrived in the Catskills, he was immediately enthusiastic,

and wanted to be involved. In addition to his involvement in planning the rally, Ed has

been instrumental in helping to get the local communities involved in supporting the event.

Rich Otis (Chief Communications Officer) - A retired carpenter from the construction

industry residing in Middletown, Rich is a veteran amateur radio operator in emergencies

and sporting events. He assembles and coordinates the rally's safety and emergency

communication network, working through the Mount Beacon Amateur Radio Club

(based in the Hudson Valley). Rich and his cohorts make sure that the folks at rally

headquarters can direct their army of volunteers on rally day.
