WDC REGION RALLYCROSS SCHEDULES FIRST 2001 EVENTS
The Washington DC Region SCCA, in collaboration with the Mid Atlantic Subaru Club, kicks off its 2001 RallyX schedule at an exciting new venue on February 17th in Orange, VA. The site is a 145 acre farm offering a clubhouse for driver's meetings, observation tower and acres of grass fields.
The course layout will be simple to follow cut grass roads with a few cone gates. In addition to coursemaps, we will begin issuing routebooks of the course so teams will be able to practice communications and codrivers can call instructions. Snow is possible and would make an exciting and challenging event.
The entry fees have been reduced from last season. T-shirts will be available. Once again, we will have a food vendor and porta-potties on site. Prizes will be awarded and 2001 season championship details announced later.
A second event at the same location is proposed for March 10th or 24th weekend. Use it as a test and tune day prior to Cherokee Trails.
