Biography Chuck Cox

In 1988 Chuck Cox co-founded the Hopped/Up Racing Team. Sponsored by SynchroSystems, he started driving an Acura Integra in autocrosses, TSD rallies, and ice trials. In 1997 the Integra was replaced by a Mazda Miata and Chuck joined the Mazda Motorsports Team Support Program. 1999 is his rookie year in ProRally and RallyCross.

Currently Chuck co-drives in stage rallies for Arthur Wojcik in the Artex Motorsports Mitsubishi Galant. They are competing in the Open class in the Michelin SCCA ProRally Series, the Subaru Canadian Rally Championship, and the North American Rally Cup. Chuck also continues to campaign the SynchroSystems Miata in rallycrosses, ice trials, autocrosses, and TSD rallies. Chuck is a member of the New England Region of the SCCA.

Chuck was born in 1960 in Columbia, Missouri. A Navy brat, he has lived in 12 cities in 3 countries. He is single and lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Chuck is the president of SynchroSystems, a small engineering firm specializing in embedded computer system development. He is also a part-time student at Harvard University and a BJCP Master Beer Judge.
