Waterloo, Ontario -- Upstart new team, Two AM Rallysport, has announced the provisional signing of long time co-driver Martyn Appleford for the 2000 season.

Two AM Rallysport - a recently formed Waterloo based racing team - is thrilled at the addition of Appleford as co-driver for the first event in 2000, the Rallye Perce Neige on February 11, 2000. Martyn has provisionally agreed to be co-driver for team owner/driver Andrew Miller for the entire 2000 season based on this "pilot" event. "I'm really impressed with them [Two AM Rallysport] they're very professional. I'm confident this will be a very good ride," says Appleford.

Martyn has been rallying since the early eighties and a host of Production class wins culminated in a National Co-Drivers championship in 1995. He has only been lightly active in the sport for the last couple of years, but it's hoped that his involvement with Two AM Rallysport will bring him back full time. A good co-driver can make a significant impact on stage times of any rally team. Martyn is one of Ontario's best and should contribute immensely to the success of the team.

"Martyn is one of the most experienced co-drivers in Ontario," says the driver of the Two AM Rallysport VW, "I'm really lucky to get the chance to work with him. He's one of the hired guns". Looking forward to the beginning of the season, Miller has this to say, "We've put a lot of work into our new car and we're ready to kick some butt for 2000."

The Ontario Performance Rally Championship, which consists of 6 events run from February to November, is about the most challenging racing series in Ontario. Teams compete in timed runs over narrow, twisty closed roads at high speeds. Two AM Rallysport competes in the Production Sport class with help from its sponsor AM Innovations Inc.
